Coils are semi-finished products of the steel industry, they are flat products (sheet metal) that appear in the form of enormous rolls. Once it arrives at the processing plants, is the coil flattened and cut into sheets of dimensions that meet the needs of the processes to be performed?
The Top Quality company specializes in the production of precision metal parts obtained from strip and wire and needed to move coils safely, within an area of 2500 square meters. To meet this need we provided them with our 01B5 cantilever crane, which can best maneuver in the spaces of a warehouse, lifting up to 500 kg, maximum height 2850 millimeters and 1270 millimeters of overhang.

Spread over a covered area of 2500 m2, located in Presezzo (BG), it is able to produce cut, folded and assembled parts starting from the customer’s design using technologically advanced machinery such as Bihler and Bruderer. The activity of cutting small metal parts has a consolidated tradition in the Meles family; in fact, already in 1950, Mr. Meles Pietro was dealing with this type of production in Lecco.
In 1964, a company was established with headquarters in Bergamo, with Mr. Giancarlo Meles being responsible for the technical management.
After over 40 years of specialization in the cutting sector, in 1991, together with his son Claudio Meles, he set up a new company called T.O.P. QUALITY with headquarters and factory in Medolago (BG). In 2001, the company expanded and moved to its new headquarters in Presezzo (BG), investing and expanding its machinery fleet over the last few years, finding justification in the clear desire to create a medium-sized manufacturing company capable of producing precision metal small parts, with the quality characteristics requested by the customer and compliant with current regulations.
